Appointing fire wardens is not enough. Your wardens need to be trained, documented, and confident in their role before an emergency happens. Under Queensland fire safety legislation, buildings are required to have trained wardens who can lead evacuations and manage emergency responses effectively. Untrained or undocumented wardens are a compliance gap that shows up in every fire safety audit. We deliver training that covers what your wardens actually need to know, at your building, in a single session that covers both chief and area wardens at the same time.
Our fire warden training equips chief and area wardens with the skills to manage evacuations, lead emergency responses, and maintain compliance in line with Australian Standards. Training is delivered on site at your building, covers both chief and area wardens in one session, and has no limit on class size.

Training documented and recorded to satisfy your annual fire safety compliance requirements.
Having wardens in place is only half of the obligation. Your compliance record needs to show that training was conducted, who attended, and when. Our training is documented from the start so your records hold up during an audit, an inspection, or an insurance review. Fire Auditors delivers fire warden training across Queensland, NSW, Victoria, and Western Australia including remote locations. We work around your building's schedule and can accommodate any size organisation in a single on-site session.

Fire audits are generally required annually, although additional audits may be necessary after major renovations, layout changes, or occupancy increases.
Audits cover all aspects in relation to Fire compliance, some items include (but not limited to) fire alarms, extinguishers, hydrants, hose reels, emergency lighting, evacuation diagrams, training records, evacuation plans, routes, doors and compliance documentation such as Occupier’s Statements or Annual Fire Safety Statements we also take note of any work that has been carried out in the complex and note any changes.
Fire safety inspections are vital for ensuring your building is safe, compliant with regulations, and ready for emergencies. Regular inspections help identify and fix potential risks, protecting your property and the safety of everyone inside.
Under Queensland's regulations, your legal requirements for fire safety include:
These requirements are crucial for ensuring the safety of your premises and compliance with state laws.
Fire evacuation training prepares your staff to respond quickly and safely during an emergency. It covers evacuation procedures, escape routes, and emergency roles, helping to protect lives and ensure your building complies with safety regulations.
Fire warden training ensures designated staff are fully equipped to lead during emergencies. It prepares them to manage evacuations, use safety equipment, and coordinate with emergency services, keeping your building compliant and everyone inside safe.
No, and this is an important distinction. Fire Auditors is an independent auditing company. We assess and report on compliance, we do not physically service, install, or maintain fire equipment. If you need extinguisher servicing, smoke alarm testing, or any fire equipment maintenance, you need a licensed fire protection company. We are happy to point you in the right direction. If you need an independent audit on top of your maintenance, which is a separate legal requirement, that is where we come in.
We audit commercial buildings, residential strata complexes, body corporate properties, convention centres, office buildings, warehouses, industrial facilities, government buildings, and large organisations across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria. If you are unsure whether your building type falls within our scope, contact us and we will let you know quickly.
Yes. We work regularly with strata managers and body corporates responsible for multiple buildings. We can audit individual buildings as required or set up an ongoing compliance schedule across your entire portfolio so nothing slips through. If you manage multiple buildings and want one consistent, reliable auditor across all of them, contact us to talk through how we would structure that.
