  • We do not service or maintain fire equipment. Extinguisher testing, sprinkler maintenance, and smoke alarm installation require a licensed fire protection company.

  • We do not install or test smoke alarms. If your building needs smoke alarm compliance for a residential tenancy or small property, a maintenance provider is what you need.

  • We do not advise on where to place fire equipment. Specific placement of extinguishers, exit lights, and hydrants requires a licensed fire protection engineer or installer.

What is included in a fire safety audit?

Audits cover all aspects in relation to Fire compliance, some items include (but not limited to) fire alarms, extinguishers, hydrants, hose reels, emergency lighting, evacuation diagrams, training records,evacuation plans, routes, doors and compliance documentation such as Occupier’s Statements or Annual Fire Safety Statements we also take note of any work that has been carried out in the complex and note any changes.

Can you help  with fire extinguishers and smoke alarms?

No, and this is an important distinction. Fire Auditors is an independent auditing company. We assess and report on compliance, we do not physically service, install, or maintain fire equipment. If you need extinguisher servicing, smoke alarm testing, or any fire equipment maintenance, you need a licensed fire protection company. We are happy to point you in the right direction. If you need an independent audit on top of your maintenance, which is a separate legal requirement, that is where we come in.
